Akai has been with the flock almost five years. He was my first macaw. A former breeder who once was a beloved pet before that. He decided he wanted to be a pet so became a poor dad and husband. He came from a rescue and relocation organization is San Diego.
Akai is a very mellow and well socialized bird that goes on many outings with me. Below are some favorite poses.
